Language Resources has an extensive database of specialist translators working all over the world. All our translators are required to have a minimum 5 years’ experience, though most have at least double that. They have a great deal of experience in their specialized fields and, with only a few exceptions, translate into their mother tongue so as to ensure quality and accuracy.

To further ensure quality, all translations are checked for accuracy before being delivered to the client. A coordinator is appointed for communication with the client to handle any clarifications or editing that may be required post-translation.

• Conference Interpreting ~ for large meetings, symposia, etc.
• Small Meeting Interpreting ~ for business negotiations, technical seminars, factory visits, company training, etc.
• Escort Interpretation ~ for welcoming VIPs at the airport, paying courtesy visits to clients and business partners, etc.

Simultaneous Interpretation

In this type of interpreting, both the speaker and the interpreter are speaking almost simultaneously. This technique is often used for international conferences, press conferences and broadcasts or any other event where time is limited.

Consecutive Interpretation

Unlike simultaneous interpreting, the speaker is asked to pause intermittently while speaking. Listeners only hear either the speaker or the interpreter at any one time.

Whispering

This technique is used mostly when there is only one person or two people sitting close together. The interpreter whispers into the client’s ear without the use of a microphone/earphone. It is often used for small meetings and negotiations.
